1 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp Corn Starch
2 Cups Pineapple Chunks
1/2 Cup White Vinegar
3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
2 tsp Lemon Juice
Directions for Sweet and Sour Sauce
Mix 2 Tbsp of cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl and set
aside. (This will need to be re-stirred again just before adding to
boiling mixture).
Combine all other contents into a saucepan and heat over medium-
high (3/4) heat stirring continuously.
Bring to a boil at the medium-high (3/4) heat while continuously
stirring.
When boiling is established, stir up the cornstarch and water
mixture
again and pour into the boiling saucepan. Continue stirring.
Stir while boiling until the mixture thickens to a thick syrup
consistency. This may take several minutes.
Remove from heat when desired thickness is achieved.
